publicly becomes a member
of the church. If you have a
young child or if you are an
older person and want to

Confirmation
This is a service for young
people and adults who want
to take the next step of
commitment in their
Christian lives. The Bishop
comes to the church and
lays his hands on the
candidates.

Weddings
St Michael’s is an excellent
place to hold a wedding. It
is a grand building with a
good organ, a fine set of
bells and a choir that is often
available to sing.

If you wish to hold a funeral
service at St Michael’s
Church or at the
Macclesfield Crematorium
with one of our clergy
